Plot: Jared and Sam are good friends that haven't seen each other in a while and are meeting to catch up. They are in a car driving to a restaurant but they aren't sure where to go. While in the car they talk about the different places they like to eat at and the foods they like. Sam prefers Chinese, Italian, and merican cuisine. Jared likes mostly Chinese food. Jared and Sam agree to go to a Chinese restaurant. They walk into the restaurant and are greeted by the waitress (Emily). Jared looks around and sees that there are not many tables left, and asks if there are any tables left for the two of them. The waitress sees a table and seats the two friends. ( now they will look at the menu and decide drinks and food for them both)
After they finish eating, Jared and Sam are given the check by Emily. They fight over who will pay the bill, but Sam ends up paying in the end. The skit ends with Jared saying that he has to pay for the meal the next time they eat together.
(Jared and Sam are in a car; on their way to a restaurant)
Jared:司马善, 好久不见！
Sam: 对， 好久不见！你好吗？
Jared: 还可以。你呢？
Sam: 我也还可以。 你想去哪儿吃饭？
Jared: 虽然我什么都可以吃，但是我最喜欢吃中国菜。你呢？
Sam: 我喜欢吃美国菜，意大利 菜， 跟中国菜。
Jared: 那太好了！我们到中国餐馆去吃饭吧。
Sam: 好吧！我们现在就去！
(Jared and Sam arrive at the Chinese restaurant)
Emily: 请进，请进！
(Jared and Sam enter)
Emily: 你们有多少人？
Sam: 只有我们两位。
(Jared looks around)
Jared: 人怎么这么多！你还有没有位子？
Emily: 有，有， 有。 这里就有位子.
Sam: 那太好了！
(Emily walks Sam and Jared to their table)
Emily: 请坐，请坐。
(Sam and Jared sit down)
Emily: 两位想吃点什么？
Sam: 郎杰诺， 你点菜吧。 Jared: 好。你们有什么特色菜？ Emily: 这些都是。 (Emily points to the dishes on the menu) Jared: 好吧。 来一 盘宫爆鸡丁, 两碗酸辣汤， 两碗米饭。 Emily: 除了这些以外， 你们还要别的吗？ Jared: 司马善，你要别的吗？ Sam: 我们还没有点青菜。 对不对？ Emily: 对。 Sam: 好，我们点一盘青菜吧。
Emily: 那， 两位想喝点什么？
Jared:我要一杯咖啡。 他要一杯雪碧。 Emily: 好， 两碗酸辣汤， 一盘宫爆鸡丁， 两碗米饭， 一盘青菜，一杯咖啡，一杯雪碧。 还要别的吗？ Sam: 这些够了。
Emily: 好，你的菜很快就能做好。
Jared: 谢谢。
(Emily comes back with food)
Emily: 上菜了！
(Sam and Jared eat)
(1 hour later...)
Jared: 服务员，请给我们帐单 (zhàngdān-check)
Emily: 好，请等一下。
(Emily goes and comes back with check)
(Sam opens up the checkbook and takes out money)
(Jared refuses to let Sam pay for the dinner; takes away book from Sam)
Jared: 不行， 不行！ 让我付钱！
Sam: 哎呀！不要！我可以付钱！
Jared: 你不用付钱！
Sam: 真的没有问题！
(Sam takes back book from Jared)
(Jared sighs)
Jared: 啊，那我下次一定 要付钱！

Sam: 中文书好是好， 可是我念得太慢。
(Emily comes back with food)
Emily: 上菜了！
